<h2 style="font-size:1.2em">Wizard: Visual Analytics for Home Care</h2>
<p dir="auto">The <a href="https://diva.telecom-paristech.fr/">DIVA group</a> at the <a href="https://www.ip-paris.fr/en/">Institut Polytechnique de Paris</a> is currently seeking motivated candidates for a funded post-doc in <em>information visualization</em> and <em>human-computer interaction</em>. In the context of home-care for aging populations, this project has two goals: research into visual analytics support for hybrid human-machine decision making processes, and the creation of proof-of-concept tools for practitioners. The successful post-doc will explore and develop new models of such hybrid interactions combining machine-learning and visualization in the visual analytics process.</p>
<h3 style="font-size:1.1em">Requirements</h3>
<p dir="auto">Applicants should have:</p>
<ul>
<li>a Ph.D. in <em>human-computer interaction</em>, <em>information visualization</em>, <em>data science</em>, <em>machine learning</em>, or a related discipline.</li>
<li>experience with some or all of the following: mastery of computer science fundamentals and sound development skills; designing information visualizations; user-centered design; machine learning; data science.</li>
<li>mastery of written and spoken English</li>
</ul>
<p dir="auto">The successful candidate will work under the supervision of James Eagan & Eric Lecolinet in the <a href="https://diva.telecom-paristech.fr/">DIVA group</a> at <a href="https://www.telecom-paris.fr/en">Télécom Paris</a> and the <a href="https://www.ip-paris.fr/en/">Institut Polytechnique de Paris</a>.</p>
