to fill multiple tenure-track positions as part of multi-year effort to grow the department. Applicants with expertise in</span><b style="font-size: 10pt;">information visualization</b><span style="font-size: 10pt;"> and </span><b style="font-size: 10pt;">visual
analytics</b><span style="font-size: 10pt;"> are strongly encouraged to apply. Although the search is primarily focused on a position at the assistant professor level, highly qualified applicants at more senior levels will also be seriously considered.</span></div>

and a commitment to excellence in teaching. </span><span style="font-size: 10pt;"> </span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Further, it is important that the candidate can demonstrate her/his ability to be able to work in applications such as digital humanities,
physical sciences and engineering, life sciences, and various transactional disciplines (geography, sociology, economics, etc.). This is required to be successful as TDA-faculty.</span></p>
