<div>3-year Research Associate Position on Interactive Visual Analysis for Decision-Making within Cyber-Security Systems</div>

<div>The giCentre at City University London is seeking a Research Associate in Visualisation to work on the EU funded Project DiSIEM. The post is on researching Interactive Visualisation methods for Supporting Decision-Making in Diverse Cyber-Security Systems.</div>

</div>
<div>The position is within the EC H2020 funded “DiSIEM – Diversity Enhancements for SIEMs” and is for a fixed term of 36 months and is available from 1 September 2016. The project is coordinated by University of Lisbon and has 5 industrial partners involved
-- EDP, ATOS, Amadeus, Digital MR, and Fraunhofer Institute . The project is an innovation action and in addition to excellent research, we strive to deliver deployable quality solutions.</div>

<div>We expect you to have a PhD degree (either awarded or thesis submitted) or equivalent research experience in a relevant discipline possibly within Computer Science or related fields. We will be looking for expertise and publication record in visualisation,
visual-analytics, human-computer interaction, and human factors in visualisation design. In addition, knowledge in machine-learning and/or data mining approaches to data analysis is beneficial for the project. </div>
