We are seeking highly-motivated PhD student or post-doctoral
candidates <span id="reg5_span_dx9" class="pcrtablefont">
to conduct research in the area of <b>Uncertainty Visualization
and Quantification</b> within the newly funded <b>SFB/Transregio
161 "Quantitative Methods for Visual Computing"</b>. This joint
research group of University of Konstanz (Germany) and University
of Stuttgart </span><span id="reg5_span_dx9" class="pcrtablefont"><span
id="reg5_span_dx9" class="pcrtablefont">(Germany) </span>focusses
on quantitative methods for image-based representations of
information with the goal of providing measures, benchmarks, data
sets and related scalable algorithms for the quantitative
assesment of </span><span id="reg5_span_dx9" class="pcrtablefont"><span
id="reg5_span_dx9" class="pcrtablefont">visual computing
results. <br>

</span></span><b>Desired skills and experience</b><br>
<br>
To apply for the position, you should have a master/PhD in the area
of computer science (or related) and experience in information
visualization or computer graphics.<br>
