Software and IT Engineering Department of École de Technologie
Supérieure in Montréal, Canada.<br>

École de Technologie Supérieure – With over 7,000 students,
including more than 1,600 at the graduate and postgraduate levels,
and close to 400 in Ph.D. programs, ÉTS (<a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="http://www.etsmtl.ca">www.etsmtl.ca</a>) in Montreal
is one of the biggest engineering schools in Canada. ÉTS offers
Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral programs designed with an applied
engineering focus. ÉTS cultivates close ties with industry through a
dynamic co-operative education program, and boasts an outstanding
degree of partnership-based research and innovation, and includes a
host of industry representatives in its decision-making bodies. The
Department of Software and IT Engineering invites applications for
up to four tenure track positions in the areas of Information
Technology and Software Engineering – more details on the priority

Applicants must have completed or be completing a Ph.D. in software
engineering, computer science, or a closely related area, and must
have demonstrated the ability to pursue an independent research
program with multiple peer-reviewed publications, and have a strong
commitment to teaching. Candidates will be expected to teach in
French, lead a team of graduate students, obtain external research
funding, and be qualified to become a member of the Ordre des
ingénieurs du Québec (<a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="http://www.oiq.qc.ca/">www.oiq.qc.ca/</a>). Application deadline: 2015
