student admission ratios of around 5–10%.

Télécom Paris was founded in 1878 and invented the term
“telecommunication.” In 2019, the school joined four other grandes
écoles (École Polytechnique, ENSAE, ENSTA, and Télécom SudParis) to
create the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, a top-50 ranked institution
for Computer Science & Information systems worldwide.

## About the Research Group

Research activities will be conducted in the [DIVA (Design, Interaction,
Visualisation & Applications)][DIVA] group of the Computer Science &
Networking department. The group research activities focus on novel
interaction techniques (particularly with respect to large and
small-scale devices), information visualisation, VR/AR/XR, digital
fabrication & design, and new technologies for teaching.

The successful candidate will lead **HCI and/or Visualization** research

these areas and to contribute to the team’s multidisciplinary focus.
Candidates should have a track record of high-quality publications in
HCI and/or related fields.

[LTCI] and [CNRS I3] research laboratories of Télécom Paris and the
broader Institut Polytechnique de Paris community.

The proposed position is a full-time, permanent position (**with
tenure**, “CDI de droit publique”). Depending on level of
experience, the successful candidate will obtain the title of (tenured)
Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. The latter is given to the
