assistants/PhD or Post-Doc positions for the projects WarmWorld: Visual 
comparison of climate models and observations (job advertisement) and 
Risk Principe: Interactive visualization of infection risks (unsolicited 
application) in our Chair of Visualization and Visual Analytics (further

1) Call for applications for a research assistant/ PhD position in the 
WarmWorld project
Visual comparison of climate models and observations

Tasks:
Development of new visualization techniques for comparison of 
observations with model results
Collaboration with researchers and experts in the project
Publication and presentation of results
Participation in project reports, public relations and project organization

Requirements:
Master's degree in computer science or related field
until employment
Knowledge of visualization, interest in research
Very good programming skills
Know-how in the efficient handling of data
Interest in working with climate data
Knowledge of English and German
Communication, team orientation, self-organization

Organizational information:
80% TV-L E13 position for 3 years
Start at the earliest possible date
