Computer & Graphics Journal Special Section for SVR 2023 – 25th Symposium on Virtual and Augmented Reality

Call for Technical Paper Contributions

The Brazilian Symposium on Virtual and Augmented Reality (SVR 2023) will have a Special Section in the Computer & Graphics Journal this year.

All papers for the SVR 2023 C&G Track must be submitted via the Computer & Graphics Journal journal’s submission website (https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/computers-and-graphics). If you do not already have an Elsevier account, you will be required to create one.

Accepted papers in the Special Section will be published in the Computer & Graphics Journal. Authors whose papers are not accepted for the journal publication, may consider proceeding to submit the paper as a Regular Submission in the SVR Conference (http://svr.c3.furg.br/tracks-main.html).

All papers that have been accepted for the conference are required to be presented and must be associated with a separate full-paid registration. Additionally, a remote presentation option will be available.

When submitting papers to this track, please select "VSI:SVR 2023" as the article type in the Elsevier system.

Submissions to this track must adhere to the guidelines outlined in the Computers & Graphics Guide for Authors. Please read carefully All the information in this Guide. In particular, the following information:

Each submission must be accompanied by an ANONYMOUS cover letter that provides a concise summary of the paper's main contributions. It should also contain the complete citation and status (submitted, accepted, published) of all prior work, including your own. It should explain how the reported material differs from the prior work; this information should also be included in the actual manuscript.

Please use the LaTeX template available at this link <https://www.elsevier.com/__data/promis_misc/elsarticle-CAG-template.zip> together with the "elsarticle" class;
Ensure your manuscript is set as single line spacing, double-column, and that line numbers are included ("twocolumn,final" parameters for the "elsarticle" LaTeX class);
Anonymize your submissions following the Anonymization policy described in the Guide for Authors — removing Author Names from the PDF text and metadata;
Initial paper submission (first deadline) must be only a PDF of your manuscript;
Please review and approve your submission after your files have been uploaded. Note that you should consider your submission as incomplete until you receive an email confirming receipt of your manuscript.
If a revised version of your paper is requested, then source files (eg, ".tex" files and others) must be uploaded;
Submitted manuscripts must be written in English. They are to be double-blindly reviewed by at least three experts in the topic of the work;
There is no page limit. However, we would discourage people from writing pieces longer than 12 pages.
