The <a href="https://esse2022.uni-mainz.de/">European Society for the Study of English (ESSE) Conference</a> will take place at Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz, Germany, from August 29 to September 2, 2022. In the context of this conference, Matthias Bauer, Angelika Zirker (both Tübingen University), and Nathalie Vanfasse (Aix-Marseille University) will host a panel on “Dickens in Colour”. They especially invite contributions from corpus linguistics and digital humanities. Scholars who wish to present their paper on the panel are invited to submit 200-word abstracts of their proposed presentations directly to the convenors: nathalie.vanfasse@univ-amu.fr. The <strong>deadline</strong> for abstracts is <strong>January 31, 2022.</strong><br>
