TEASYS – NEWS
Next semester, Angelika Zirker (Humboldt-Universität Berlin) as well  
as Matthias Bauer and Miriam Lahrsow (both Tübingen Universität) will  
offer a seminar on “Digital Methods in Literary Studies” at their  
respective universities.

The Annotated Web Edition Directory is looking forward to your  
suggestions. We are always on the look-out for new entries to add to  
the list. Feel free to recommend literary digital editions that  
include explanatory annotation (of the social or the editorial kind),  
web platforms, tools and applications that enable the user to  
(collaboratively) annotate texts. Please use the corresponding form on  
our webpage. We thank you for your help.

CALLS FOR PAPERS/ UPCOMING EVENTS

The Shared Task on the Analysis of Narrative Levels Through  
Annotation[1] (SANTA) is open to everyone interested in the  
/collaborative creation of annotation guidelines./

The Cologne Centre for eHumanities[2] (CCeH) is organizing a two-day  
symposium and a one-day workshop at the University of Cologne.  
REGISTRATION is NOW OPEN: http://questioningmodels.uni-koeln.de/

Submissions are due in DECEMBER for a DH-focused special edition[3] of  
/Digital Library Perspectives/.

Proposals are due JANUARY 5 for DHSI 2018 Conference &  
Colloquium[4] (University of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, 4 -  
15 June 2018).

Proposals are due JANUARY 15 for the annual meeting of the Canadian  
Society for Digital Humanities from 26 - 28 May 2018 under the theme  
"Gathering Diversities[5]".

The Digital Americanists Society[6] solicits abstracts (c. 250 words)  
for papers to be included in the Society’s prearranged session at the  
2018 American Literature Association Conference[7] (San Francisco, May  
24-27, 2018).  The deadline is JANUARY 15.

Poster and workshop proposals for the DH_Budapest_2018[8] (27–31 May  
2018) ARE DUE JANUARY 30.

Proposals are due JANUARY 31 for the Digital Research in the  
Humanities and Arts Conference[9] (Fondazzjoni Kreattività, Malta, 9 -  
12 September 2018).

Submissions are due MARCH 11 for the International Symposium on the  
Future of Education in Information Science[10] (Pisa, 10-11 September  
2018).

Submissions are due MARCH 12 for PMLA's Varieties of Digital Humanities[11].

 The Digital Pedagogy Lab 2018[12], will take place in Fredericksburg,  
VA from July 30 – August 3. Registration will open in late JANUARY 2018.

JOBS/SCHOLARSHIPS
 
The Institut für Musikforschung (Würzburg, Germany) is hiring a  
research assistant[13] for a digital edition of Richard Wagner’s  
writings. The deadline is JANUARY 5.
 
The /Max-Planck-Institut für Wissenschaftsgeschichte/ (MPIWG) in  
Berlin is looking for a software engineer[14]. The deadline is JANUARY  
8.
 
The /Forschungsverbund Marbach Weimar Wolfenbüttel /is offering  
scholarships to graduate students and postdocs[15] in the field of  
Digital Humanities. The deadline is JANUARY 15.
