<pre>Dear Arabidopsis folks-
Below is information for the upcoming NAASC-organized ICAR in St. Louis (June 19-23) including funding opportunities (full-funding for US under-represented minorities, travel supplements for US early career researchers and *NEW* childcare funding).
The ICAR won’t return to North America until 2020, making this the perfect year for you to attend (2018= Finland, 2019= China).
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://icar2017.arabidopsisresearch.org/">http://icar2017.arabidopsisresearch.org/</a>
• See the invited speaker program (including 4 keynotes):
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://icar2017.arabidopsisresearch.org/schedule.html">http://icar2017.arabidopsisresearch.org/schedule.html</a>
• We’ve got 50 slots for talks from submitted abstracts (submissions due by March 31.)
The Danforth Center is hosting the ICAR’s conference party and an Open House for ICAR attendees.
There are inexpensive WashU dorms (private rooms)- perfect for students and postdocs at $68/night, including breakfast and taxes.
We’ve negotiated a good room rate at the conference site (Hyatt at the Arch) for regular attendees.
**ICAR 2017- Arabidopsis Research in 2017 and Beyond: From Basic Discovery to Translation**
